. When a recently erected statue in Trafalgar Square is found bleeding, and a body is discovered within, DCI Tate Randall and his colleague, DI Harriet Stone, are assigned to investigate the incomprehensible crime.

As similar sculptures begin to appear across the city, Tate and his recently established team at the Metropolitan Major Crimes Unit are drawn into a chilling investigation in which each newly discovered victim is posed as a recognisable historical statue.

With the body count mounting, it becomes evident that the killer not only has a passion for classical sculpture but also a profound fascination with Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical studies and his endless pursuit of the divine proportion.

If Tate and his team are to stop a murderer who views death as an artistic expression, they must first uncover the killer's past and begin to understand his obsession with beauty and flawless physiques. They must strive to stay one step ahead and prevent the unveiling of further sculptures, or the killings may soon escalate to a final, crowning masterpiece .

. One year after failing to capture his devious arch enemy, Tate Randall of the Metropolitan Arts and Antiquities department receives a taunting message from the remorseless Narcissus. It heralds the dawning of a second brutal, murderous spree within the darker side of London's art world.

Nobody is safe.

One by one, art thieves, forgers, and dealers fall prey to ruthless executions. Each victim endures insufferable torture before their bodies are over-painted to create a series of horrifying artworks that haunt the imagination.
As the body count rises, a series of enigmatic clues lead Tate and CID Inspector Harriet Stone to join forces again. Together, they embark on an intrepid chase through the capital's prestigious galleries, resuming their unrelenting pursuit of London’s most notorious serial killer of recent years .

.When a stolen CARAVAGGIO painting is rumoured to have resurfaced in LONDON, dci TATE RANDALL of the ARTS and ANTIQUITIES investigation department  is tasked with LOCATING and RECOVERING the ARTWORK . When a number of POTENTIAL BUYERS are found MURDERED and their CORPSES posed, the case takes an UNSUSPECTED turn and TATE must confront the SKELETONS from his PAST and RECOVER the STOLEN artwork BEFORE the NARCISSUS claims another VICTIM .
